Let’s be honest ladies, until you find your prince there’s so many frogs it’s like a reenactment of the Egyptian plague. Searching for the right man can be exhausting but that could be a result of looking for love in all the wrong places. Often times what happens is females come up with a certain ‘type’ of man they desire through life experiences. Although it’s wonderful to have focus and a vision for the future, a narrow mind is limited. Perhaps tattoos didn’t make the mental list of traits because of their rough stigma or rowdy stereotypes but maybe those things are not always true. For many girls out there that one sentence is enough but that’s not even the best part. The best part is a blanketed in tattoos will always have the appearance of a troublemaker even if he’s changed his ways.

Some women spend their whole lives searching for the one man who is brave enough to put a ring on it. Sadly, commitment is seldom seen these days, replaced with lofty promises, accompanied with just about any set of words or assortment of gifts that’ll avoid the alter. Obviously tattoos are not the “I do” answer ladies, but there is a possible link to devotion and tattoos.
Body art in itself doesn’t come with a return policy and a man who dares to wear an ample amount of ink knows this. He is aware of the no turning back factor. He sticks to the decisions he makes. He is a keeper of his word.

Many of us see tattoos whenever we go out but a glance, a virtual first impression, doesn’t say much about the truth does it? Dating a man with tattoos means getting to know that expressive soul. It’s like extrapolating a thriller novel. Going over the pages again and again, sifting through the details. Studying the fine lines, reading between the lines, memorizing his personal patterns, all in hopes to one day solve the mystery of a man and his tattoos.

Impulsivity is commonly thought of as a bad quality however, when it comes to dating a tattooed man it might be best to think spontaneity rather than recklessness. Sure, there may be some regrets and perhaps not every tattoo on his body is steeped in meaning. Although, in terms of the bigger picture dating a man with tattoos can mean being with someone who’s easy going and unafraid of making mistakes.

In the workforce a man with many tattoos probably isn’t going to be in an uptight predictable position. Even before making the choice to get that black and gray half sleeve he was an expressive person. His natural creativity drove him to the artwork that he’s now covered in and of course he doesn’t regret them because his tattoos are simply showing the type of colorful visionary he is on the inside. When dating a man who has tattoos asking; “how was your day?” Won’t be met with a trite answer. Tattooed men crave adventure even in the most mundane and they always find it.

This reason right here is a personal weakness of mine. Men who have tattoos approach romance in their very own knee-buckling way. Just like everything else about him; the kindness, the mystery, and the sensitivity, the way he romances is anything but typical.
Tattoos cover scars both metaphorically and literally and a man covered in scars is bound to be a little dark and twisty. Think brooding, gothic, and severe the type of dangerous that excites much more than it terrifies. Who could resist a toe curling passion like that?
Oh, and as far as a tattooed man in formal wear, the effect is inexplicable. This point alone might just be the best one on this whole list.
He can handle pain
For the women out there who like their men rugged as in beards, and that certain type of unconscious masculinity, the tattooed man is for you. A little pain is nothing to him, at least he’s man enough to make it seem that way. Writer Gigi Engle said: “A guy who can handle a needle being dragged across his skin for hours at a time in the name of art is a man worth dating.“ Nothing’s sexier than a man who knows how to be one.
He finds meaning in things
“Imperfection is beauty” to both Marilyn Monroe and the man with tattoos. To him flaws are fantastic, jagged pieces and things littered with fractures are what he finds absolutely enchanting. Perhaps it is because he himself with all his stories engraved in his skin, knows nothing about perfection, and if it was perfect, well that would just be boring.
He’s honest
Honesty appears to be a nearly extinct practice that we could all stand to reinvest in. A liar isn’t something that’s usually found in a man with tattoos, reason being each one he has bears meaning and they probably don’t all stand for something positive or honorable. Dating a man with tattoos means dating someone who is aware of his mistakes, someone who’s willing to own up to the things he’s done and the places he’s been. He realizes that what’s been written of his story so far has shaped him into the man he is today.
His story is one you’ll want to hear
“A tattooed man is a complicated man.” He’s seen and done enough in life to live fast and learn well. That dynamic, multilayered outside springs from a sensitive, artistic inside. He’s a dreamer but more than that he’s a doer, he’s a man who sticks to what he wants. He’s aware of what he feels although he doesn’t wallow in it, art and imperfections captivate him and he approaches things through a poetic lens. When it comes to pain he can grin and bear it with the best of them and when the time is right he has a passionate dark side the never ceases to thrill. Reasons like this make dating a tattooed man hard to resist.
